ProtoMetrics Protein Markers consist of 9 precisely sized recombinant proteins of 10, 15, 25, 35, 50, 75, 100, 150, and 225 kDa .

Quantity: 500µl ProtoMetrics in 125mM Tris-HCl pH 6.8%, 2% SDS, 10% glycerol, 200mM 2-mercaptoethanol, 0.007% bromophenol blue.

Applications per vial: 100 minigels

Usage: Do not heat markers prior to loading. ProtoMetrics are pre-denatured - repeated heating will degrade product performance. Load 5µl/ lane for standard minigels. This will give 0.5 µg/band, optimal for Coomassie staining. For Insite staining, load 5µl of a 1:10 dilution. For silver staining, load 5µl of a 1:25 dilution. (Dilute into 1X SDS sample buffer)
