HRPL Lunimol-Based Western Blotting Kit
-
Horseradish Peroxidase
Visualisation System
- Safer, contains no DMSO
- Reduced background
- Longer shelf life, enhanced stability
The HRPL Kit causes light to be produced when any
molecule labeled with horseradish peroxidase (HRP) is exposed to the
reagents in the HRPL Kit. This light can be recorded on X-ray film or
counted in a tube or microtiter plate luminometer. The light output
peaks approximately 2 minutes after introduction of the reagent, and
lasts for more than 1 hour.
An exceptional property unique to National Diagnostics' HRPL Kit is its
broad dynamic range. Samples as small as 2 picograms can be readily
detected. Because larger samples do not overexpose film, however, samples as
large as 2 mg can be quantified within the same assay. As an alternative to
the colored dye visualization methods, the HRPL Kit offers the advantages of
greater sensitivity without exposure to hazardous dye reagents or DMSO.
National Diagnostics' HRPL Kit contains 120 ml of HRPL Substrate A and 120
ml of HRPL Substrate B. Sufficient reagents are provided to process 3000 cm2
of membrane.
Storage: All system components are best stored at 4oC and are stable for 1
year
