Offers Inexpensive Way to Produce Quality Mac and PC
Compatible Images
GeneFlash USB is the first gel documentation system
on the market to use USB memory device technology to accurately
record gel images that are both PC and Mac compatible.
The GeneFlash USB comes complete with a compact
darkroom and enclosed camera all linked to a graphical user
interface and USB memory drive. This allows scientists to quickly
and easily capture and assess full colour images on a large screen.
These high quality images can be printed directly from the system
with any printer or stored on a USB memory device. Using a USB
memory device means molecular biologists can save time because they
can acquire Mac and PC compatible images without having to download
files to floppy disk or ZIP drive and is more readily available than
compact flash card.
The system’s darkroom, which can accommodate any
transilluminator, has a corrosion resistant sliding door that
automatically turns off the UV when opened. This great safety
feature protects users from accidental UV exposure. The benefit of a
universal darkroom combined with not having any computer is
scientists can save money on buying items such as a transilluminator
and dedicated laboratory PC.
The GeneFlash USB is as affordable as a laboratory
camera system, yet produces high quality gel images without the
expense of using Polaroid film, making it an excellent purchase for
laboratories on a limited budget.
GeneFlash uses the latest digital video technology
combined with an integral colour LCD monitor to enable you to view
your images in vibrant detail in real time. The system, which
features a new style ergonomic darkroom with a large sliding door
for unrestricted access, is packed with a range of novel features,
making it perfect for the laboratory working with all
electrophoresis gels, spots, blots, colonies, membranes, films,
plates and other media
