General Purpose Agaroses: RESult^TM

 RESult agaroses are the perfect choice for routine use, and are recommended for separations of fragments above 500bp . They are available in three varieties ranging from low electroendosmosis value (EEO) to high EEO allowing preparation of gels within a range of required EEO values.

 RESult ^TM  LE General Purpose Agaroses - Download Protocol

High gel strength, low EEO agarose (< 0.13). This is recommended for analytical electrophoresis providing a sharp resolution of molecules greater than 500bp. This agarose is suitable for Northern and Southern blotting.

RESult ^TM  HE General Purpose Agaroses

This has a high EEO value (0.23-0.26) and provides enhanced resolution in IEP, crossed-IEP and counter-IEP. Result HE may also be used in high charge separations without trailing or smearing  bands.

 PCR Agaroses: RESponse ^TM

 These agaroses have very fine molecular sieving structures, which facilitate the separation of nucleic acids and PCR products. The three types of agarose in this family differ mainly in terms of resolution and blotting capabilities (gel strength).

RESponse ^TM   Regular PCR Agarose - Download Protocol

Recommended for analytical separation of DNA fragments <1000bp such as PCR products, DNA fragments generated by restriction enzyme digestion and DNA fragments used in mutation analysis. This is am intermediate melting and gelling point agarose with a high resolution and high transparency, even at concentrations as high as 5%.

This agarose has excellent handling properties due to the strong gel structure. RESponse Research is recommended for analytical gels of DNA fragments lower than 1000bp and is an intermediate melting and gelling point agarose with high resolution and superior sieving properties.  Wide Range Agaroses: RESolute^TM  - Download Protocol

These are high gel strength agaroses designed for a wide range of molecular biology techniques ranging from conventional constant field to pulsed field electrophoresis (PFGE). RESolute agaroses have a great versatility in working concentrations of 0.4%-2%. DNA fragments from 50bp to 10kb can be separated on a single 1% gel using conventional electrophoresis. RESolute is suitable for blotting assays, reduces electrophoresis time and improves the separation of very large DNA fragments.

 Low Melt Agaroses: RESolve ^TM

These are extremely high gel strength, low melting point agaroses that are recommended for separations greater than 1000bp as well as preparative electrophoresis.

RESolve^TM Low Melt Agaroses - Download Protocol

RESolve agarose is the highest gel strength, low melting point agarose on the market. RESolve Low agaroses have greater sieving properties than standard agaroses and are recommended for DNA/RNA separations greater than 1000bp as well as preparative protein electrophoresis. The low melting temperature (65^oC) allows recovery of nucleic acids whilst the low gelling temperature (24^oC-28^oC)  makes RESolve agarose suitable for In-Gel manipulations in addition to tissue culture and viral plaque applications.
